The field of Information Technology has undergone a major change in
past decade. The pressures of ever
increasing competition and complexity of business have forced managers to rely
on more accurate, timely and complete information on which to base their
decisions. Information is therefore
becoming increasingly critical. This has resulted in an ever-increasing level of
expectation from the efficiency and effectiveness of the support function
managed by the executive, personal secretaries and other officials.
Secretaries and other officials have today got to face the challenge of
changing requirements in terms of professional competence and skill and also on
the approaches to handle information effectively.
Advances in Information Technology (IT) have made it possible today to
make Information available in forms and speeds previously unheard of.
The technologies of computers, communication and office are
converging today to bring about integrated office systems.
These systems address the pressing needs of secretaries and other
officials for better information management and communication.
The corner stones of productivity of executive secretaries and other
officials are today centering on “Electronic Workstations.”
However these technological advances have triggered the emergence of new
concepts and patterns of thought.
This
program has been specifically designed for executive / personal secretaries and
other officials to catalyzing a re-orientation of thinking to effectively
utilize the newly available computing and communication tools so that different
elements of their job can effectively fit together with IT as the key enabler.

productivity and office management.

The programme is designed for participants from public and private sector
organizations, autonomous bodies/ departments as well as from Central Government
Department and State Government Departments with the target group of this
programme being Executive Secretaries, Private Secretaries, Secretaries,
Personal Assistants, Stenographers, Section Officers, Assistants, LDC/UDC,
Supervisors etc..
Rs.
27,500/- plus applicable service tax at 12.36%.
Total
Fees including service tax is Rs 30,899/-
(Rupees thirty thousand eight hundred ninety nine only) per participant. The
fee covers the cost of board and lodge, reading and training material, faculty
consultation, folder and stationery etc.
The methodology would lay emphasis on experiential learning through
presentations, discussions, and case studies besides conceptual tutorials from
the faculty. The faculty would
include specialists from NPC and invited speakers from organizations of
eminence.
